UniCoat 3-Coat Stucco System

Unicoat 3-Coat stucco assembly consist of a base coat thickness between 3/4 to 7/8 in. thick, which provides a durable exterior and appealing look. This assembly utilizes Unicoat 3-Coat Basecoat Concentrate or Unicoat 3-Coat Basecoat Pre-Mix. Unicoat 3-Coat (Crack-Less) Assembly provides the same aesthetic beauty and durability of the standard Unicoat 3-Coat Assembly but includes an additional benefit crack resistance layer as part of the assembly. Cracks are a common occurrence in stucco assemblies, however, an additional layer of mesh embedded into a layer of Unibond Foam Coat, will provide enhanced crack resistance to the wall surface. This minimizes the number of cracks that may form on the surface.

Unicoat 3-Coat (Continuous Insulation) stucco assembly includes a layer of continuous insulation up to 1-1/2 inch thick under a base thickness between 3/4 to 7/8 inch. As an insulated stucco assembly, Unicoat 3-Coat CI provides an energy saving layer of continuous insulation. This use of continuous insulation eliminates "thermal breaks" in wall assemblies and significantly enhances any structure's insulative performance.

Concrete and Masonry are common forms of exterior cladding used in construction, though it is good for strength and long life, it does not have a beautiful curbside appeal. Unicoat 3-Coat can be applied directly to these substrates without the use of lath. If a structure is constructed of concrete or masonry, Unicoat 3-Coat can be used to improve the structure’s curbside appeal.
