UNICOAT SKIMCOAT is a pre-blended dry mixture of cement, sand, and cement modifiers, to create a smooth or coarse durable texture mix for skimming and texturing over existing stucco base coats, masonry, concrete surfaces. Unicoat Skimcoat is available in two forms of texture mix, Smooth and Coarse. Unicoat Skimcoat Smooth is designed to be applied by hand to achieve a smooth slick look or a very fine skip trowel hand texture. Unicoat Skimcoat can be modified with our Unicoat Admixture 2000 to increase flexural strength, crack resistance and speed the curing process. Unicoat Skimcoat Coarse can create a sand float texture finish or a heavy Spanish lace texture finish. Both products can be sprayed on and applied to create different splatter and dash textures as well. Unicoat Skimcoat can also be used to repair a One-coat or 3-coat plastered wall or level joints on a CMU wall made of cynder block.
